Bootcamp: 3:00-4:30pm
Stretch: 4:30-5:30pm

Feeling a bit lost in your dance class?

This 10 week class is designed to teach terminology, technique and the foundational steps of dance. Students will learn the turns, jumps and foot-work that are essential to attending higher level dance classes. Designed for students who have not previously studied dance and students who would like to drill the basics – this is the class will work your brain and your body!

Every class will include a warm up, stretch, conditioning and drill-based exercises that will be repeated weekly to improve mastery. This class does not include a choreography component.

What to wear: form-fitting clothing you can stretch in; ballet slippers, jazz shoes, “foot thongs” or bare feet are all appropriate. Bring a water bottle and yoga mat if desired.

Dance Foundations Stretch:Always promising yourself eventual flexibility? That one day you’ll master your splits? This 10 week class will provide the skills and encouragement you need with a weekly structured stretch to add to your training regime. No matter how far along in you are in your journey, all levels will be accommodated with modifications that will help new and seasoned stretchers move closer towards their flexibility goals.
